Manmade Disgrace

don’t you see this man made disgrace?

humans drown life in waste with such haste

don’t you feel mother earth tremble with rage?

shaking roots to tree tops

anger burns forests

oxygen drifts away

don’t you see extensive, excessive human waste?

islands of plastic

floating, unwanted, from place to place

don’t you see now drastic changes cannot wait?

nature is dying

meanwhile humans are not trying

to change in ways that are woke

in ways that could save the human race
