think of the amazing, intricate, marvelous creatures 

flitting through earth’s sea

think of all the beings

unknown, unseen, yet breathing 

immersed in the deep blue sea

imagine life as these creatures

swimming free as an eel

slithering wherever they feel

slipping through deep liquid abyss

until some plastic chokes them

why would humans do this?

our sea is delicate and complex

it is humans who kill sea life

we drown life in their very own home

and we do it without thinking twice

i beg you now, all humans

from this moment forevermore

reflect on your action’s impact

before polluting your ocean’s floor

look at our earth, hear her

moving forward please think twice

before drowning sea life once more
